THE EFFECT OF VARIATION OF PEROXIDE VALUE ON THE OXIDATIVE STABILITY OF PENTACLETHRA MACROPHYLLA IN PORT HARCOURT, NIGERIA
The seed oil of pentaclethra macrophylla -African oil bean- was extracted using acetone and the percentage oil yield was found to be 12.52%. The physicochemical properties ( iodine and peroxide values) were determined at various times of 0, 24, 48, 72, 96 and 120 hours.

TURNING WASTE TO WEALTH: EFFECT OF ALUM-TREATED GROUNDNUT SHELL ON PERFORMANCE AND COST BENEFIT OF BROILER CHICKENS
Alum-treated groundnut (Arachis hypogea) shell (GNS) meal was used to replace wheat offal at 6% level of inclusion in broiler diet. This feeding trial was carried out to study the effect of alum-treated groundnut shell meal on performance and cost benefit of producing broiler chickens. Two hundred and forty (240) day-old broiler chicks (Anak strain) were used for the study which lasted for eight (8) weeks.

PREVALENCE OF HELMINTHS PARASITES IN Silurana tropicalis (EDIBLE FROG) OF TWO LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF AKWA IBOM STATE
The prevalence of helminth parasite in Silurana tropicalis (the edible frog) was investigated in two Local Government Areas in Akwa Ibom State (Ibiono Ibom L.G.A. and ikono LG.A.), using standard method between August and October 2016. A total of sixty (60) frog samples were collected, 28 from Ibiono Ibom LG.A with prevalence rate of infection (60.7%) and 32 from Ikono L.GA with pravalence rate of (62.5%).
