EFFECT OF MOISTURE CONTENT ON THE PROXIMATE COMPOSITION OF MAIZE
The effect of moisture content on the proximate composition of maize at various moisture content levels (10, 20 and 30%) was investigated. Three samples of maize varieties popularly grown in Enugu state, namely: Ngwo White Maize, OBA Super Maize and Ngwo Yellow Maize Varieties obtained from Enugu State Agricultural Development Programme (EDAP) at average moisture content of 10.00% were used for the study.
