A SURVEY OF PEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES IN MAIZE: A CASE STUDY OF ADAMAWA STATE, NIGERIA
This study investigates pest management practices among maize farmers in Adamawa state with a particular notion on pesticide usage in controlling both predominant weeds and pests found in the study areas. Maize is among the most essential cereal crops that is widely cultivated in North Eastern Nigeria, it is cultivated and consumed as a staple food and is regarded as the second most cultivated crop after rice. However, the most common pesticides used are Organochlorine, Organophosphates and Pyrethroids.

AN ANALYSIS OF ENGLISH CONCORD ERRORS OF SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS’ IN SHENDAM L.G.A OF PLATEAU STATE
The English sentence has a fairly strict word order and the elements that make up a sentence must be in concord otherwise the linear sequence becomes ungrammatical. This study investigated the degree of competence on concord in English attained by senior secondary school students in Shendam local government Area of Plateau State.

A researcher’s made instrument tagged “Mathematics Achievement Test on Probability (MAT-P)” was used for the study.

A pretest- posttest quasi experimental design was adopted. The population of the study consisted of 4,520 SS11 students in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.
